He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Briggs Nicholas; his children, Lisa Withers (Mark) of Old Hickory and Eric Nicholas (Amanda) of Easton; his grandchildren, Maria Bradley of Tennessee, Adalyn, Ainsley, Mason and Max Nicholas of Maryland; and his cousins, Harriet Campbell of Louisiana, Linda Keisling of Pennsylvania and Janice Davis of Pennsylvania.
