He is survived by: his mother Alice Simpson McIntyre of Mt. Pleasant, NC; his siblings, Carla Carpentier (Jon) of Tucson, AZ and A. J. McIntyre (Viva) of North Carolina; and his aunts and uncles, Eugene Simpson of Pennsylvania, Patricia Rice (John) of Cincinnatus, Robert Simpson (Joy) of North Carolina and Debbie Duncan (Jim) of Cortland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
