He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Buchanan and Florence Buchanan. He is survived by: his children, William Jr., Robert, Dana Marie, Alison and Andrea; and his wife Ellen Walton. He is also survived by three sisters, five children, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
