Sylvia May Ducharme Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 94, Sylvia May Ducharme of Cossayuna, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sylvia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sylvia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Florence Dillon and Leland Dillon; her husband Arthur Ducharme; her children, Sally, Brian and Betsy Ducharme; her friend Scotty Peney; and her grandchildren, Christopher and Anna.
The military honors will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Comfort Food Community, http://www.comfortfoodcommunity.org or Save the Children, http://www.savethechildren.org as she regularly donated to organizations that supported children in need.
