We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy Stella Johnson (Coxsackie, New York), born in Norwich, Vermont. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Swasey and Orleana Swasey; her husband Roy Rockford Johnson; her siblings, Charlie, Earl, Carl, Jim, Howard Swasey, Alvaretta Martin and Ella Robinson; and her niece Karman.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia (Ginny) VanHousen (Jack), Roy Johnson Jr. (Debbie), Barry Johnson (Robin) and Terry Johnson; and her grandchildren, Wendy Johnson Teran, Orlando Valero Angelita (Patricia), Antoinette Rose (Thomas), Shannon Johnson, Jeremy Johnson (Barbara), Jason Johnson and Amelia Valero-Brust (Jesse). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Coxsackie (103 Mansion St, Coxsackie, NY 12051). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (103 Mansion St, Coxsackie, NY 12051).
