Alvin Steria Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Steria Jr. (Croghan, New York), who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Marie Roggie; his siblings, Helen Steria and Rev. Gilbert Steria; and his parents, Alvin Sr. Steria and Laura Roggie Steria.
He is survived by: his children, James E. Steria of Croghan, Dawn (Alan Jantzi) and Sheryl (Stephen Virkler); his siblings, Donald Steria of Lowville, Robert and Lillian Steria of Croghan; and his sister-in-law Savilla Steria of Lowville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Croghan Mennonite Church.
