Duane Schwendy Obituary
We bid farewell to Duane Schwendy (Croghan, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Duane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Jeffrey Colson; his siblings, Donald Schwendy, Diane Wheeler and Patricia Reay; and his parents, Francis B. Schwendy and Irene Snyder Schwendy.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Katrina Thomas (Douglas) of Watertown, Kristine Colson of Croghan and Kent Schwendy (Susan) of Manchester, CT; his grandchildren, Esther, Jazmine, Elyssa, Benjamin and Carolyn; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Brennan; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Schwendy and Charles Reay. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
