LeRoy Schindler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LeRoy Schindler (Croghan, New York), who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy J. Sr. Schindler and Regina Schindler (Chartrand); his wife Marjory Ann Briot of Stephen's Church; his siblings, Joseph Schindler, Margaret Gingerich and Ann Hirschey; Timothy L. Schindler.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas C. Schindler, Debra A. Lyndaker (Robert) and Tammy M. Edick (Jeff) of Castorland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
A prayer will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Scanlon Funeral Home (9791 Main St, Croghan, NY 13327). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Church (9748 Main St, Croghan, NY 13327). Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scanlon Funeral Home (9791 Main St, Croghan, NY 13327).
