She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Michaels, Sr.; her brothers, Donald Gibbs, Kenneth Gibbs and Roland Gibbs; and her parents, Millard Gibbs and Frieda Gibbs.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Dooley (Jeff) of Albany, Richard Gould (Vicki Ostrander) of Crown Point, Leslie Gould (Lorraine) of Lansingburgh, Harry Gould of North Carolina, Alan Gould (Donna) of Wynantskill, Tom Gould (Deanna) of Rotterdam, Diane Allen (Matt) of Poestenkill and Francis Michaels, Jr. of Ohio; her sisters, Elizabeth Davis and Norma Woelfershiem; her stepmother Louise Gibbs; her stepbrother Howard Thatcher; and her stepdaughters, Susan Key and Karen Michaels.
