She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenda McGraw and Andrew J. "Mike" Cummins; her spouse Jerry E. Ward; and her grandson Clayson Pangburn. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Norma Wood; her children, Jodi Clark (Patrick) of Friendship, Dustin Ward of Friendship, Douglas Ward (Monica) of Friendship, Ross Ward (Marjory) of Friendship, Megan Solomon (Tony) of Friendship, Amanda Ward of Friendship and Becky Hicks (Brian) of Richburg; her grandchildren, Maranda, Cole, Austin, Rafe, MacKenzie, Jarret, Trent, Jeremy, Joseph, Mark Jr., Zane, Claire, Piper, McKayla, Shakira, Kirsten, Kiley, Brock and Karlee; and her siblings, David Cummins (Annette) of Statesville, NC and Linda Austin (John) of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many foster children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc. (9 Bull, Cuba, NY 14727).
Memorials may be made to the Friendship American Legion Post 1168 or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
