He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Osborne; his son Kyle Macklin; his grandson Alex Scicchitano; and his brother John Ickes. He is survived by: his caregiver Donna Ripley Gabler; his children, Theresa Ickes (Frank Scicchitano) of Olean, Kelli Vanini (John) of Florida and Charles Ickes of Olean; his grandchildren, Nick Mowery (Amber), Justin Grabow, Abbi Grabow Hendrickson, Jack Truman (Amanda) and Naudia Macklin; his great grandchildren, Nixon, Easton, Weslyn Mowery, Jagger, Bo Hendrickson, Charli and Alice Truman; his siblings, Gary (Linda Ickes) and Carol (Robert Riddle); and his close friends, Mike Jennings, Jim Swanson, Jack Truman Sr., Fran Tripodi, Mel Duggan, Jim Webb and Kay Macklin Cooney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
