She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Burt and Marian Burt (DeWitt); her husband Lawrence Torpey; her daughters, Nancy Swift, Linda Thornton and Judy Torpey; her granddaughter Lisa Zajicek; and her siblings, Arlene Wierzbowski, Ruth Rasmusson and Ernest Burt Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Lisi; her sister Karen Burt; her grandchildren, Christine Popolizio (Rob), Pete Lisi (Beth), Jason Torpey (Briar) and Andy Swift; her great grandchildren, Jackson Lisi, Joey Zajicek, Alivia (Josh Gilbert), Jacob, Jared, Jason Jr. Torpey, Brooke, Chris, Avah Auman and Austin Lewis; her great great grandchildren, Harper and Carter Gilbert; and her son-in-law Rich Swift. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home (9 Bull St, Cuba, NY 14727).
