He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Hammond and Elizabeth A. Toal Hammond; and his siblings, Keith David Hammond, Maureen Smith and Barbara Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Carol Wright of Robbins, NC, Kevin J. Hammond of Cuba and Kelly A. Blair of Cuba; his grandchildren, Jennifer Copeheaver, Christopher Hammond and Derek Blair; his great grandchild Gabriel Copeheaver; and his brothers, James K. Hammond (Sharon) of California and Harold W. Hammond of Depew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
