He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerhard Wuersig and Charlotte Wuersig of Görlitz; his wife Celeste M. Curcio; his son Erich; and his brother Gerd.
He is survived by : his daughters, Elke (Ronan) and Renate (Vinay); his daughter-in-law Lisa (Erich); his grandchildren, Dan Wuersig, Kirsten Wuersig (Kate), Peran Miot, Rhodri Miot and Nalini Iyer; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Makenzie and Ian; and his brother Bernd Wuersig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
