He is survived by: his sons, John Mark, Nathanael and Andrew; his wife Cathy Ann Cavazos; his grandchildren, Parker, Brady and Colin; and his pets, Shiloh, Tobey and Ellie.
In lieu of gifts, Mansel would be honored by charitable contributions to Samaritan's Purse, which provides emergency aid in Jesus' name to disaster victims around the world.
