He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Foster and Genevieve Sweeney Foster; his siblings, Richard, James (Nora Lee), Gerald (Dorothy), Raymond Foster, Elizabeth Storm (Hurford) and Margaret Prescott (Bob); and his brothers-in-law, John Park, Don Enloe, Robert and Roy Appleby.
He is survived by: his wife Diane P. Appleby; his children, Mary Burrows (Dean), Robert Foster (Jennifer) of Friendship, Rebecca Lyman (Michael) of Black Creek, Melissa Holcomb of Friendship and Michael Foster of Friendship; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (John), Jennifer (George), Natalie, Blake (Cami), Taylor, Bentley, Tinsley, Ashley, Emily and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Carter, Magnolia and Aspen; his sisters, Ellen Enloe of Arcadia, Calif and Regina Park; his siblings-in-law, Paul Appleby (Barb) of Arcade, Pam Foster of Friendship, Bette Foster of North Carolina and Linda Appleby of Cuba; and his son-in-law Michael Holcomb.
Memorials may be made to the Friendship American Legion Post 1168 or to the Friendship Fire Department.
