He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Luce and Rita Lafferty Luce; his wife June Smith; his son Durwin Luce; and his daughter-in-law Sue Luce.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Luce (Lorraine Livergood) of Pike, Philip Luce of Rushford, Dennis Luce of Oriskany, Diane Warriner (Steven) of Dundee and Jacqueline Borden (Thomas) of Caneadea; and his brothers, Duane Luce (Alice) of Caneadea and Sanford Luce (Carol) of Locke. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
