It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Earl T. Veley of Dalton, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Veley and Ruth Veley (Clemons); and his wife Helen Acomb. He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Griffing (Donald) of Dalton, Vickie Veley of Alexandria, VA and Vessa Fisher (Scott) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Joseph Fisher (Raychael) of Warsaw and Katie Fisher (Alex Butcher) of Avon; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Acomb of Dansville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home (73 Main St, Dansville, NY 14437). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
