We announce the death of Doris E. Dunn of Dansville, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 84. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Doris will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Doris will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Doris’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Switzer and Dovey Switzer (Harper); and her siblings, Margaret Russell, Ruth Jones and Amos Switzer.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin "Ben" Dunn and Yolanda "Lonna" DiGrazio of South Dansville; her brother Henry Switzer of Rochester; and her grandchildren, Casey Bartell and Marissa Luciano. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
