He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gross and Josephine Gross; his brothers, Roy and Charles Gross; his in-laws, James and Ethel Koch; his sister-in-law Kandi Koch; and his former wife Bonnie Marie Gross (Koch).
He is survived by: his wife Jaqueline Matarese; his stepchildren, Angelina, Nicole and Joey; his daughters, Jesse Anne Tancsik (John) and Heather Lea Gross; his granddaughter Jennifer Klee (Ryan); his great grandchild Logan Klee; his sister Pat Lowery; his siblings-in-law, Jeff Koch (Denise Winfield), Charlie Koch (Sandy Roof), Jim Koch (Kathy) and Debbie Hill (Dan); his close friend Larry Foos (Paula); and his uncle Tiger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
