We bid farewell to George E. Macomber of Dansville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2026 at the age of 62. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Murry Macomber and Marian Macomber (Weaver); his niece Christa Macomber; his grandson Jonathan Schleyer; and his brother Danny Macomber.
He is survived by: his wife Christine "Chrissy" Macomber (Condy); his grandchildren, Paige, Camden, Michael and Parker; his pets, Sophie and Penny; his siblings, Pam (Larry Lennox), Roger Macomber, Gary (Patty Macomber), Ron (Kate Macomber) and Melanie Macomber; and his in-laws, Marje, Rick Mincer, Kimberly and Dean Clark. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins; and an enormous amount of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George's name to UR Strong Palliative Care, Unit 41200.
