He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Merrill and Carol Merrill (Duguid). He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Donald Duguid (Sandra) of Phoenix, Arizonia, Robert Anchor (late Joyce) of Stafford, Sandra Gerstman (Henry) of West Caldwell and Lee Duguid (late Ellsworth) of Sun City, Arizona; his cousin Sherry Gorman (Steven) of Phoenix, Arizona; his godson Preston Cuer of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Karen Cuer of Lancaster.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Red Cross.
