Lucille Waid Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 72, Lucille Waid in Davenport, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Bates and Edith Bates. She is survived by: her husband Edward Waid; her children, Karen Wamsley (Roger), Robert Waid (Nicole), Todd Waid (Sally Scofield), Jason Waid (Sarah) and Kristin Waid (Gary Menhinick); her grandchildren, Holly Waid, Jennifer Mickel (Steven), Kyle Wamsley (Brittany), Tyler Wamsley (Brye), Bailey Waid, Jackson Waid, Chelsea Wilms (Hunter), Dylan Waid, Trevor Waid, Lila Waid, Cooper Waid, Noah Menhinick and Zoey Menhinick; her great grandchildren, Patrick, Karli, Thomas, Penelope, Anna and Logan; her family, Paul, Becky Garrison, Honnah Garrison, Tanner Cole and Kandy Collins; Samona Waid. She is also survived by her siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davenport Fire House.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Davenport Fire Department or CVCS Dollars For Scholars.
