He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry DeJoy and Nina DeJoy (Bean); his sons, Bob and Shawn Thayer; and his brothers, Joe DeJoy and Chicky DeJoy.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Rous; his children, Darlene Wong, Shelly Yager (Warren), Lara Woods (Brad), Diana Decker (Eric), Bumper DeJoy (Carrie) and Kelly Thayer (Dawn); and his brother Raymond DeJoy (Liz). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Davenport Fire Department (15838 NY-23, Davenport, NY 13750).
