We announce the death of Carlos Luis Saavedra (Deer Park, New York), who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 87. Carlos will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Saavedra and Olga Saavedra; and his brother Luis. He is survived by: his wife Magnolia; his daughters, Carol (Brendan) and Dianna (Edward); his grandchildren, Meagan (Nicholas), Ryan (Halley) and Nolan; and his brother Miguel (Lourdes). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
