He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell McGovern and Margaret McGovern; and his wife Hannah. He is survived by: his children, Nora Johnson (Dick), Patrick J. McGovern (Susan), Cathleen DiPeri (Michael), Tommy McGovern (Kari) and Jimmy McGovern (Dana); his sister Josephine Carew; and his sister-in-law Anna Higgins. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
