He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Balascio and Mary Fuina Balascio; his brother Augustine Balascio (Dona); and his nephew Gerard Balascio. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bonesteel Balascio; his children, Daniel Balascio, Jr. (Jennifer) of Falls and Susan Flanagan of Manchester, VT.; his grandchildren, Jessica Balascio, Christina Davidson (Gaylord), Nicholas Balascio (Monica), Madeleine, Daniel III, Jillian and Shea Flanagan; his nephews, Mark and John Balascio; and his friend Lake. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
