He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford H. Towne and Lida A. Towne (Tousley); and his siblings, William, Barry, Barbara Pike, Betty Reynolds, Gwendolyn Harper and Bonnie Stubbs.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Towne, Rick (Sheri Towne), Ronald "Ron" (Susan Towne), Janice (Adam Walgenbach) and Julie Towne (Bill Patnode); and his siblings, John, Douglas, Donald Towne, Patricia Cameron and June Briggs. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
