He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Laura LaMont; his former wife Dorothy Ann Powers; his wife Claudia O'Shea; his children, Dwayne, Michael Powers and Barbara; his son-in-law Michael Slota; his siblings, Victor LaMont and Laurie Brookes; his grandchildren, Amanda, Joseph, Adam, Melissa, Matt and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, James, Eli, Chad, Kade, Evelyn, Izzy, Prim and Harper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the French Funeral Home Inc. (188 Main St, Edwards, NY 13635). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
