He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth D. Cole and Margaret E. Cole (Davis); and his sister Lucy Allen. He is survived by: his wife Jerrilyn B. Whitford; his children, Lorenzo (Heather Cole), Lenora Forbes, Eva (Ryan Rowe), Ruth (David Bolton), Christine (Jeff St. Andrews) and Rebecca (Christopher Stransky); and his brother Kenneth "Andrew" Cole.
