It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl J. James of Delanson, New York, born in Norwich, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Reginald Creed and Joyce Creed (Fuller); her sister Julie Creed; and her siblings-in-law, Peter Webb and Norma Creed.

She is survived by : her husband John E. James Jr.; her children, Carl James (Sherry), Lynn Herzog (Timothy) and Lise Ketchell (William); her grandchildren, Lacy James-Starr (Kenton), Jacob James, Kendra Bombard (Peter), Tiffanie Smith, Geoffrey Herzog, Mickey Ketchell (Amy), Timothy Ketchell, Beth Ketchell, John Ketchell, Sarah Taylor (Josh) and Laura Ketchell; and her brothers, David Creed (Christine) and Trevor Creed (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl's memory to Quaker Street Bible Church (PO Box 63, Delanson, NY 12053) OR Wounded Warriors Project (P.O. Box 758519, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516).
