We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, at the age of 97, Orpha Anne Easton of Delevan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Orpha Anne find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cleon W. Easton; and her daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by: her children, H. Michael Easton (Barbara) of Batavia, Edna M. Scherf (Kevin) of Akron, Cleon W. Easton III (Leesa) of Lime Lake, Anita L. Reisdorf (Bruce) of Somers and Jesse Curry (Karen) of East Aurora. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home (7 N Main St, Franklinville, NY 14737).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cattaraugus County Museum at P.O. Box 352 Machias, NY 14101 or to the Town of Machias Youth Commission at P.O Box 87 Machias, NY 14101.
