With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy M. Mallaber of Delhi, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Cathy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Cathy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Cathy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Ward, and Carol Ward, Jr. (Bogart); and her brother William T. Ward III. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Mark Mallaber of Delhi; and her children, Ivan Piko (Jason) of Albany, Joseph Mallaber of East Meredith and Ariel Wilson (Aaron) of Delhi. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
