Gordon Whitten Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Whitten of Delhi, New York, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Gordon find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Whitten and Grace Whitten of New Berlin; and his brothers, Ned and Dean. He is survived by: his children, Craig Whitten (Diane) and Lisa Osborn (Paul); his grandchildren, Justine, Jennifer, Kristen and Sean; and his close friend Janet Benson Castaldy. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions be made to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, 2376 India Hook Road, Rock Hill SC 29732.
