William H. Stanton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William H. Stanton of Delhi, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Stanton and Janet Hughes Stanton; his wife Maryann; his sisters, Nancy Chicorelli (John) and Lenda Turner (Ken); and his brother-in-law Charles Sweeney.
He is survived by: his close friend Maryann Sweeney; his children, Chris (Ellie) of Schenevus, Jason (Lisa) of Bovina, Kati (Nick) of Rochester, Stephanie (Anthony) of Toms River, NJ, Carly (Bobby) of Sacramento, CA and Cecelia (AJ) of Traverse City, MI.; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Courtney, Jack, Ian, Alex, Jamie, Albert, Frances, Dorothy and Johnny; his great grandchildren, Gianna and Hailey; and his siblings, Scott of Oneonta and Alice of Goodyear Lake. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hynes Funeral Home (48 Walnut St, Margaretville, NY 12455). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Margaretville Cemetery (605 Cross Rd, Margaretville, NY 12455).
