He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert DiBernardo and Matilda DiBernardo (DeFlavis); his sibling Costante "Henry" DiBernardo; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Siy, Edwin H. Lawson (Alicia Lawson) and Joan DiBernardo.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. DiBernardo (Lawson); his children, James A. DiBernardo and Lisa A. Zanella (Philip); and his sister-in-law Eleanor Siy. He is also survived by his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (35 Adams Pl, Delmar, NY 12054).
