He is survived by : his son James; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Dering of Delmar; his granddaughter Madeline Dering; his daughter Heather Maces (Chuck) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Samuel Kostue and Sarah Kostue; and his brothers, Robert Dering (Betty) of Cambridge, N. Y. and George Dering (Carol) of Greenwich, N. Y.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
