James J. McSharry Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of James J. McSharry (Delmar, New York) is shared. James, born on May 28, 1942, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas McSharry and Marie Weakland McSharry; his brothers, John Thomas II and Joseph (Joe); and his sibling-in-law Marti.
He is survived by: his children, Karen (Henry) and Patrick (Julie); his grandchildren, Fiona McSharry, Emily Meier, Grady McSharry and Allison Meier; his sister Marie; and his caregivers, Kim, CeCe, Nellie and Shaniek. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054).
