It is with sadness that the passing of Noella E. Gilhooly of Delmar, New York is shared. Noella, born on December 25, 1936, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robertine Duffy, Velma Deschaine, Anne Chasse, Sharon Cyr, Herman, Rudy, Gerald and Robert Cyr.
She is survived by: her children, Louise M. Kavanaugh (Charles) and Michael E. Gilhooly (Catherine); her granddaughter Elizabeth R. Kavanaugh; her stepgrandchildren, Deborah M. Farnan, Michelle M. Anastasi and Michael E. Kavanaugh; and her siblings, Bernette Reader of Leesburg, FL, Edwin Cyr (Kathleen) of South Windsor, CT, Michael Cyr (Pauline) of South Windsor, CT and Roger Cyr (Susan) of Ocean View, Delaware.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Historic Church of St Mary on Capital (10 Lodge St, Albany, NY 12207). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Historic St. Mary's Church (10 Lodge St, Albany, NY 12207).
