He is survived by: his parents, Ronald McDonough and Janet McDonough (Plonus) of Bainbridge, NY.; his wife Samantha D. Stevens of Mary's Church; his daughters, Rory D. and Nora L.; his sisters, Erin Wehrli (Kevin) of Bainbridge, NY and Kelly McDonough of Binghamton, NY; his grandmother Helen Plonus of Norwich, NY; his nieces, Marissa Stevens and Makenna Wehrli; and his nephew Brayden Wehrli. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sean's memory may be made to Johnston's School of Irish Dance or in the newly established trust for his daughters.
