We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 99, Eleanor M. Blachowski (Depew, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Eleanor find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank J.; her sons, Edward (Rosemary) and Christopher Blachowski; and her siblings, Francis (late Carol) and Edward Wesolowski.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Blaski (Mindy), Dr. Yvonne Athanasaw (Danny), Mark and Bruce (Christine); and her sister Mary Ann Gillis (late John). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pacer Funeral Home, Inc. (2275 George Urban Blvd, Depew, NY 14043). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martha Parish (10 French Rd, Depew, NY 14043).
