It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanne Tufte (Depew, New York), who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Fetter and Winifred Vradenburg; her husband Robert B. Tufte; and her siblings, Robert Fetter, Vivian Meyers and Dorothy Stannard.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Susan) and David (Mary Jo); her grandchildren, Jessica Tufte (Matthew Henderson), Madeline, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Hope Tufte; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Stellan Tufte-Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, they kindly request donations be made to the Brothers of Mercy Foundation in her name—a fitting tribute to a woman who lived generously and loved profoundly.
