She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Helda; and her mother Sylvia Wass (Filipski). She is survived by: her son Nicholas; her father Gerald Wass; and her brothers, Steven (Tracy) and Tony Wass (Cheri). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
