He was predeceased by: his parents, George Moran and Gloria Moran; and his siblings, Michele and Gloria Jean Moran. He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his daughters, Madelyn and Makayla Moran; his parents-in-law, Louis and Margaret Coniglio; his sister-in-law Janie Smith (Lawrence); and his sibling's children, Julia, Louis and Lucas.

“Shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Mike and I worked together at Mead and once again at Crossmark and maintained a friendship over the past 20 years. Fond memories hanging out together at Mead sales meetings - caught a Cubs game at Wrigley Field with seats behind home plate at one meeting! He will be missed but always remembered as a good family man and friend. Keeping you all in our prayers, may God give you peace during this difficult time.”
