He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Marilyn E. Mitchell; his children, Frances Dunn (late Shawn), Nina Ludwig (Roger), Marilyn Gould (Chuck), Donna Melson (Marc Pintabona) and Kenneth "Sonny" Melson (Paula); and his brother Richard Mitchell (Barbara). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
