He was predeceased by: his daughter Ann Marie Saad (Lou); and his sister Gertrude Jankowski (late Richard). He is survived by: his wife Adeline; his children, David Ptak (Donna) and Lynn Lauricella (Michael); and his grandchildren, Alicia, Joseph, Alexander, Judson and Mary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
