She was predeceased by : her husband Stephen E. Bushaw; her granddaughter Angel Bushaw; and her sister Barbara. She is survived by : her children, Richard Carpenter (Cindy), Chad Bushaw (Elisa), Antigone Bushaw (Patty), Stephen Bushaw Jr. (Carla), Devon Bushaw (Emmy), Dion Bushaw, LumineraMist Bushaw, Bohannan Dallas Bushaw, Pierce Bushaw and Appalonia Bushaw; her grandchildren, Austin Carpenter (Lynn), CeCe, ZetaBea Bushaw and Owen Bushaw; and her great grandchildren, Dawsyn and Henley. She is also survived by 3 sisters, 4 brothers.

She was in charge of getting donations for the squad for fundraisers.
