We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Charles C. Proffitt of Deposit, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold L. Proffitt and Helen Proffitt Sr. (Fitch); his wife Louise A. Proffitt (Chandler); and his siblings, Harold Proffitt and Carol Tolbert.

He is survived by : his daughters, Heather (Craig Conklin), Deborah Proffitt (Leo Shew) and Suzanne (Ed Moore); his grandchildren, Joshua (Jen), Danielle (Sean), Brittney (Nick), Casey, Jason (Tara), Zachary (Sarah), Stacie (Tammy) and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Charlotte, Jaxon, Giovanni and Giada. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Deposit Community Theatre, PO Box 318, Deposit, NY, 13754.
