He was predeceased by : his parents, Durwood Mills and Gladys Mills; his former life partner Jean Mills (Warner); his son Daniel Mills; and his brothers, Durwood Jr. and Rexford Mills.

He is survived by : his children, Rick Mills (Kathy) of Deposit, NY, Garry Mills (Diane) of Windsor, NY, Jamie Mills of Deposit, NY, Roger Mills (Shelley) of Windsor, NY and David Mills of Windsor, NY; and his wife Deposit Sanitary. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
