He is survived by: his children, Janie Marie (Brian Rogers), Cheri (Lori Butts), James (Christina Tuttle), Mary Sherwood and Ronald Butts, Jr.; his grandchildren, Alexius, Melinda, Macie, Cameron, Brett, Bryan, Gayle, Zachary, Aleigha, Dagan, Maddison, Trayvon, Roland III, Scott and Arlene; and his brother William Butts. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
